Hello again and welcome back to the channel.

This is Michael from toflesources.com and in today's video I'm going to talk about one of the questions I get most frequently from students which is how do I come up with ideas in TOEFL speaking question one.

Get this question all the time.

Here's what I teach my students.

First up, I show them what I call the big four perspectives.

These are four ways that you can think about almost every question in TOEFL speaking part one.

So I tell my students, when you get a question, very quickly try to think about how you can connect it to education and how you can connect it to your career, your job or your health and well-being or your relationships with your friends and family.

Now, if you can connect the question to one of these topics, just one, one is all you need, you should have an easier time coming up with supporting arguments and examples.

So, I'll show you what I mean.

Here's a very typical TOEFL speaking question one. It goes like this.
