At the height of summer, the guanaco herb settles into their daily routine.

They spent long hours chewing their cud, relaxing in the thick grass.

They don't even notice the intruder, one of the puma cubs, the budding hunter, has made her way into the heart of the herd.

She has mastered her mother's lessons in stealth.

Now, what else can she do?

The young puma didn't count on a shifting breeze; an alert guard picked up her scent.

The hunting is all over before it began.

But she's learnt the importance of another rule.
