I have been fascinated with Venus flytraps since 1992.
I was five years old when I got my first one.
I now cultivate 470 named variety of just Venus flytraps.

And what we're here to show off today is a brand-new Guinness World Record Venus flytrap.
This one right here is called Green Jaws Manticore.
This one comes from Germany, and it is now 6.6, uh, centimeters long, and this trap is the largest Venus flytrap ever grown.
Some of my secrets are I grow these and repot 'em every single year.
So every single Venus flytrap I grow, I repot usually from about January through February, get it in some nice fresh soil.
I fertilize around twice a month with Maxi, and that seems to give it a nice boost to get those insane sizes.
