法说：" 这里不是还有耶和华的知，我们可以他吗？"

But in the third year Jehoshaphat king of Judah went down to see the king of Israel.

Jehoshaphat became more and more powerful; he built forts and store cities in Judah

Later, Jehoshaphat king of Judah made an alliance with Ahaziah king of Israel, whose ways were wicked.

此后，犹大王法与以色列王亚哈谢交好。亚哈谢行恶太甚。

Jehoshaphat was thirty-five years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem twenty-five years. His mother's name was Azubah daughter of Shilhi.

法登基的时候，年三十五岁，在耶路撒冷作王二十五年。他母亲名叫阿苏巴，乃示利希的女儿。

But Jehoshaphat asked, " Is there no longer a prophet of the Lord here whom we can inquire of" ?

法说：" 这里不是还有耶和华的知，我们可以他吗？"

The king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, " Didn't I tell you that he never prophesies anything good about me, but only bad" ?

以色列王对法说：" 我岂没有告诉你，这人指着我所说的预言，不说吉语，单说凶言吗？"

Alarmed, Jehoshaphat resolved to inquire of the Lord, and he proclaimed a fast for all Judah.

法便惧怕，定意寻耶和华，在犹大全地宣告禁食。

At that time Ahaziah son of Ahab said to Jehoshaphat, " Let my men sail with yours, " but Jehoshaphat refused.

亚哈的儿子亚哈谢对法说：" 容我的仆人和你的仆人坐船同去吧！" 法却不肯。

Then Jehoshaphat rested with his ancestors and was buried with them in the city of David his father. And Jehoram his son succeeded him as king.

法与列祖同睡，葬在大卫城他列祖的坟地里。他儿子兰接续他作王。

The king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, " Didn't I tell you that he never prophesies anything good about me, but only bad" ?

以色列王对法说：" 我岂没有告诉你，这人指着我所说的预言，不说吉语，单说凶言吗？"

The Lord established the kingdom under his control; and all Judah brought gifts to Jehoshaphat, so that he had great wealth and honor.

所以耶和华坚定他的国，犹大众人给他进贡；法大有尊荣资财。

And the kingdom of Jehoshaphat was at peace, for his God had given him rest on every side.

这样，法的国得享太平，因为　神赐他四境平安。

Jehoshaphat said, " The word of the Lord is with him" . So the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat and the king of Edom went down to him.

法说：" 他必有耶和华的话。" 于是，以色列王和法，并以东王，都下去见他。
